Scott and Ashley Cieri became the owners of Pokey O's Ellis County in summer 2019. Until that point, Scott had worked as a teacher in Waxahachie ISD for 13 years. He decided to step out of the classroom to take Pokey O's on full-time as scheduler, organizer, ice cream dipper, CFO, and CEO. Ashley works full-time for Waxahachie ISD as the Digital Learning Coordinator in the Curriculum Department, but she loves using her creative side to market and come up with fun new events for Pokey O's to attend in her free time. They have three children, Kamden, Adaline, and Graham, who all think they should get cookies and ice cream at any time of day or night! They are heavily involved in the local community through the school district, Waxahachie Junior Service League (Ashley), the Waxahachie Community Theatre (where they have both performed), and Oaks Church, where they serve in the Children's Ministry.
For Scott and Ashley their customers ALWAYS come first and no request is too crazy for them to try to fulfill. They are committed to giving back to their Ellis County community by providing an amazing fundraising opportunity.
